Labor Day Menu


Labor Day Breakfast - Oatmeal Pancakes* with Pure Maple Syrup, Blueberries, and Walnuts (for me) and Sunflower Seeds (for Gary) 

Good Labor Day Morning from The Pringle Plan! Here's what is on our menu today:

 BREAKFAST

Oatmeal Pancakes*

Pure Maple syrup

Blueberries

Walnuts

 MORNING SNACK

Gary's Trail Mix*

 LUNCH

Black Beans

Arugula

Cucumber and Tomatoes

Cumin

Laura’s Banana Nut Bread*

 AFTERNOON SNACK

Apples

 DINNER

Gary's Clam Chowder*

Lobster Salad prepared with Olive Oil Mayonnaise, Lemon, and Mrs. Dash Lemon Pepper

Lettuce and Tomato

Whole Wheat Kaiser Rolls

Broccoli Slaw tossed with Apple Cider Vinegar, Olive Oil Mayonnaise, and Mrs. Dash Lemon Pepper

 DESSERT

Watermelon




Lunch - Pinto beans (because I forgot to buy black beans), cucumbers, and tomatoes on a bed of Romaine (because Arugula was out of stock), sprinkled with cumin, red wine vinegar, and a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil; served with Laura's Banana Nut Bread*

Afternoon Snack - Apples!


Dinner - Lobster Salad on Whole Wheat Kaiser Rolls, Broccoli Coleslaw, and Gary's Clam Chowder* (find the recipe in The Pringle Plan For Quality Nutrition)

Dessert - Watermelon, the perfect way to end the summer!
